Narrative with some elements of performance
The plot of the narrative will be loosely based around the
film Good Will Hunting – there will be Will and Skylar who
are in a relationship at the beginning of the video,
however there will be a shot where Will says to Skylar ‘I
don’t love you’, as he did in the film. The character of Sean
will be introduced and Wills therapist, they will be seen in
conversation in an office. Skylar will at some point see Will
and say ‘You in love with me still’ (following the lyrics of
the song). Towards the end of the video Will will say to
Sean ‘I gotta go see about a girl’, as he did in the film. The
video will conclude with Will and Skylar holding hands,
walking into the distance
16 to 24 year olds. The genre of rap will appeal to them
however the 1997 film references will outdate most of
their ages (the oldest being born in 1995)

One location will centre on rural areas, by a river and/or in
a field – these will be the shots where Will is with Skylar.
The other location will be an office set up – these will be
the shots where Will is with Sean
One representation will be Skylar, who is an upper-class
girl from England, she will wear a sundress with
minimalistic jewellery, her make will be natural but
noticeable. Will will represent lower social group as he is
an orphan from south Boston. He will wear jeans and
appear scruffy in all scenes

The character of Will is intended to be the artist – there
will be shots of him in costume on the set as well as in his
