Business/Materials Lesson Objectives

Mobile devices with camera, The students will practice their speaking and listening
compatibles with chat applications skills.
such as WhatsApp, skype, line or
WeChat. The students will be exposed to the use of common
corporate/academic vocabulary.
Video projector
The students will learn how to use the technology in
Internet connection their mobile devices to practice and improve their
conversational skills.

Warm-up and Objective Discussion

As an introduction the teacher will play the following video of an example of an school
entrance interview:

At the end of the video the teacher will ask to the students about their impressions about the
video.

Instruct and Model ​❑​ ​R ​❑​ ​W ​⌧​ ​L ​⌧​ ​S

Now the teacher will connect with one of their colleagues through video conference and they
will represent a similar situation, the Assistant teacher will play the part of a job interviewer
and the classroom teacher will play the part of the interviewee, the students will be allowed to
record the interview on they own phones and to take notes.

Guided Practice ​⌧​ ​R ​⌧​ ​W ​⌧​ ​L ​⌧​ ​S


After the modeling activity the students will be set in pairs to record a 5 min. video recreating
an interview in one of this scenarios:

job interview
school entrance interview
scholarship/internship application
Au pair application

The students will create their own questions and answers, they can consult another sources
online and also the teacher will be around the classroom given clarification to any doubt.

The time to produce the videos will be 30 min.

The teacher will select 3 videos to play for the rest of the class.

Independent Practice ​⌧​ ​R ​⌧​ ​W ​⌧​ ​L ​⌧​ ​S

After the class every group will edit their video and share it through google drive with the
teacher and the rest of the class.

Every students must to give argumentative feedback to at least 3 videos.

Assessment ​❑​ ​R ​❑​ ​W ​⌧​ ​L ​⌧​ ​S

For the next classroom a teacher assistant will set a teleconference via skype between the
students and the teacher in another room.

The discussion will be focused in the difficulties that every group found creating and
producing the video and their improvements and new achievements.
