BROWSING IN INTERNET

Internet is the greatest gift of technology which has made life easier. It is not the

only fastest mode of providing information but today it is serving us in various ways.

One of the biggest benefits that internet users enjoys is communication; People living in

different part of the world can communicate with each other through the internet.

Equipped with most modern interactive tool like emails, chats, SMS, internet provides

fastest and most hassle free communication. Unlike post officers and telephone

connections, internet is accessible from all corners of the world and being a 24/7

services, It keeps on providing its services to people all the times. Without the internet

prosperity of most business in today’s world have been a great challenge.

The world is too much with us; late and soon. Getting and spending ,we lat waste

our powers; little we seen in nature that is our powers; little we seen in nature that is

ours ,we have given our hearts away, a sordid boon!” These are words that would

quicken the pulse of any young protester of globalization a service that American

provide abundance is advertising. People, of course, did not stop forming after the

industrial revolution, nor have they stopped producing street and automobiles after the

accountancy Business Management in Capitol University. It is hoped this study the

Researchers will know how effect it effect of advantages browsing internet.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:

The study aim to discuss the advantages and disadvantages browsing internet for grade

11 accountancy Business Management in Capitol University.

Specially, this study aims to answer the following question

1.What are the advantages of browsing the internet

2. What are the disadvantages of browsing internet?

3. What time taking spend on browsing internet?

THEORITICAL FRAMEWORK

This study has been anchored in Banduras (1989) Social Cognitive Learning as a major

theory in which it is considered as the most appropriate because students is considered

as the most appropriate because student’s learning ability can easily be influenced

through imitations, observation and modeling from the adult environment. It shows that

technology is vital nowadays because it creates connectivity within learners

expression’s of excitement, frustration boredom and also can be a helping hand to

teachers to ignite learners motivation and retention for student learning development.

Therefore, when students are exposed to internet, the need proper guidance to build up

a better understanding from their real life experiences.

According to Jean Paiget (1969) Connotes that students are the main creators of their

through processes and their reality. Through interaction from their environment, they will

develop complex thinking strategies and be able to understand their world. It show that

student’s minds are critical and fragile because they can absorb any information they

get from their environment.

Meanwhile, taking consideration from the most influential factor towards student’s

learning progress by Vygotsky (1962) theory firmly supports that the improvement of

higher cognitive skills.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Nowadays, browsing internet has a big role in making our work easier and faster.

Internet is important to find more access and informations with the net, we can many

things such as shopping, making friends and getting informations.

To the students, they can scope facts and opinions that help them broaden their existing

knowledge about something. Moreover, it also help them discover the advantages and

advantages that affect our daily activities.

To the Teachers, they can use this research to teach students how to use the internet

and strategies.

For the school, they can apply it on acquiring a student’s profile. They can also used it

as a reference in different aspects.

SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

The grade 11 Accountancy Business and Management Senior High School were

chosen as the respondents. There are only 50 respondents in the study. The goal of this

study is to know how these respondents effects on browsing internet. This research will

be conducted in Capitol University, S.Y. 2019-2020.

DEFINITION OF TERMS

ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE - This term pertains to the quarterly grades of the

students.

COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT- This term refers to the ability of students to grasp and

understand the meaning of ideas, facts, or how they interpret it.

COMPUTER - An electronic machine that can store and work with large amount of

information.
CRITICAL - Expressing criticism or disapproval it also relate to the judgements and

using or involving careful judgement about the good and bad parts of something.

GADGETS - An often small mechanical or useful electronic device with a practical use

but often thought of as a novelty.

INFORMATION - Knowledge that you get about someone or something you can also

get facts or details about a subject.

INTERNET - An electronic communication network that connects computer network and

organizational facilities around the world.

INTERNET ACCESS - The term pertains to the presence and accessibility of internet

connection.

INTERNET LOCATION - This term refers to the internet availability of the students

where they are exposed or used to school.

NUMBER OF HOURS - This term deals with the allotted time were students exposed in

browsing internet.

PEDAGOGICAL - This term pertaining to of or relating to teachers or education.

PHYSICAL HEALTH STATUS - This term refers to the pupil’s or student’s physical

condition when they are exposed too much in the computer, in browsing internet that

creates physical danger such like back pains, neck strains and eye strains.

TECHNOLOGY - The use of Science in industry, engineering, etc., to invent useful

things or to solve problems.

TIME SPENT ON THE INTERNET- This term pertains to the to the number of hours

pupil’s or students spend on the activities they engage in using the computer.
