Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you answer
them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language. Show you
really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures and vocabulary
you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?

I would strive to have better results during my career, and would do my best to look for
job opportunities while studying, in order to gain the experience required to get a good
job when you graduate.

2. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most?

It iis more favorable to listen to criticism about your attitude, because this greatly
influences labor relations with your bosses and colleagues and especially in the job
performance you have in a company.
3. Tell me about your last position?

My last job was in a food company, I was in charge of the maintenance of the implements
and my function was to keep them running and not present any problems at the time of
production.

4. What is your work philosophy?

My work philosophy is very tidy in my work functions, being very punctual, being
respectful of my co-workers and my bosses, I am also very committed to my work from
the beginning to the end in order to generate good job expectations.

5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?

I have been progressing in my work, I have been climbing since I finished my


electromechanical technician, I have been rotating through several jobs that have given
me the opportunity to learn in different areas in my field of work.

6. Tell me about the best manager you have ever had.

The best manager I have had was in my first job, a great person who helped me to grow
professionally and thanks to him I had great opportunities later, I always trust my skills
and thanks to him today I have great job stability.

7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position?

From my last work I emphasize that thanks to my skills I have been presented with other
very good job offers and I have also earned the respect and trust of my colleagues and
my bosses and that makes me feel at ease.

8. Why do you want to leave your current job?

Currently I want to move forward a little more work, I would like to be able to use my
knowledge in other areas that allow me to learn and be able to work in subjects in which
I do not know much and what I would like to do.

9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do things
better?

I am a person who learns very quickly and when I entered to work I had a trial period of
two months and they were enough to learn to do the functions they had given me and
after the months I had no problem with my work.
10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?

In the company where he works, although there is a lot of employment and there are
good people, there are no different work areas where you can put your knowledge to a
test and I want to open my job expectation in other areas that he did not dominate.
