Philippines, which means it is a purely Pilipino Ancestral dance. Dancers showcase their skills as they
dance atop a narrow bench, while constantly trading places. As opposed to competing with each other
to stay on the bench, dancers must complement each other to ensure that they do not fall. This dance is
usually performed in town fiestas.

Sayaw sa Bangko (“dance on a bench”) is a folk dance from the Pangasinan province of the Philippines.
