PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Ceram-Kote 54®S is a two pack ceramic composite epoxy coating providing excellent abrasion and corrosion protection to a wide
variety of metal, fibreglass, reinforced plastic, concrete substrates in aggressive environments. The product has Norsok M501 approval
for systems 1,3 & 7, Germanischer Lloyds & DNV certification.

APPLICATION DATA:
Application methods: Airless spray. Tip size: 0,015-0,021”
Conventional spray or roller may be used for smaller areas. Brush may be used for strips
coating and touch-up.
Mixing Ratio by volume: 11 parts A (base) to be mixed thoroughly with 1 part B (hardener)
Mixing Ratio by weight: 19 parts A (base) to be mixed thoroughly with 1 part B (hardener)
Pot life (23°C) 3 hours (reduced at higher temperatures)
Thinner: Ceram Kote Thinners . Max diluition 5 % volume.
Filters: Check to ensure that filters are clean. Utilise a 60 mesh/200 micron filter

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Gritblasting to minimum Sa 2,5 (ISO 8501-1).Surface to have a good profile with a roughness of 50-80µm.
Contact Distributor for specific information regarding other substrates.

CONDITION DURING APPLICATION:

The temperature of the substrate should be at least 5°C and minimum 3°C above the dew point of the air. Relative humidity should be
below 85%. Temperature and relative humidity measured in the vicinity of the substrate.

STORAGE AND PACKING

Preferred storage conditions are to keep the containers in a dry and cool area below 35°C provided with adequate ventilation. The
containers should be sealed tightly.

for the use by properly qualified professional applicators in industrial conditions.

application area. Wear suitable respiratory equipment and apply in well ventilated areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
