LAW ELECTORAL BOARD

BOARD RESOLUTION
Following the meeting held last 11th of August 2018; the following policies shall be applied
and set into implementation by the Law Electoral Board of College of Law or hereinafter referred
to as LEB.

Whereas, the election and proclamation day for the new set of officers of the Law
Executive Council on September 3, 2018.

Whereas, the student body of the San Sebastian College of Law shall elect the following
officers:

1. President
2. Vice-President
3. Secretary
4. Treasurer
5. Auditor
6. Public Relations Officer
7. Property Custodian
8. 4th year level representative
9. 3rd year level representative
10. 2nd year level representative
11. 1st year level representative

Whereas, the filing of Certificate of Candidacy for those who will run for any position for
the Law Executive Council is from August 21, 2018 to August 28, 2018.

Whereas, the campaign period shall run from August 29, 2018 to September 1, 2018.

Whereas, the oath-taking of the new set of officers of Law Executive shall be held on
September 10, 2018.

Whereas, the last day of clearance of the previous set of officers of Law Executive is on
September 12, 2018.

Whereas, those who will file their Certificate of Candidacy shall also submit the following
requirements:

1. 2x2 Picture
2. Certificate of Good Moral Character
3. Study Load
4. Non-Derogatory Record

Whereas, aside from filing the Certificate of Candidacy and submitting the documents
mentioned in the preceding paragraph, those who will run for the position of President and Vice-
President of the Law Executive Council should have to comply with the 2-year residency

requirement imposed by LEB before they are considered qualified and confirmed candidates for
the Law Executive Council of 2018.

Whereas, aside from filing the Certificate of Candidacy and submitting the documents
mentioned in the preceding paragraph, those who will run for the position of Secretary, Treasurer,
Auditor, Public Relations Officer, Property Custodian of the Law Executive Council should have
to comply with the 1-year residency requirement imposed by LEB before they are considered
qualified and confirmed candidates for the Law Executive Council of 2018.

Whereas, aside from filing the Certificate of Candidacy and submitting the documents
mentioned in the preceding paragraph, those who will run for the position of year level
representatives of the Law Executive Council are only considered qualified and confirmed
candidates for the Law Executive Council of 2018 if they meet the additional requirements:

1. 4th year level representative – at least 70% of his subjects for this school year consists
of 4th year subjects
2. 3rd and 2nd year level representative – at least 80% of his subjects for this school year
consists of 3rd and 2nd year subjects respectively.

Whereas, failure to submit any of the documents and to meet the requirements herein
stated shall not make any person qualified to run for any position.
