TIMELINE PROJECT

WORLD HISTORY
Description: This is an on going project for the entirety of the course. Its purpose is to help familiarize you
with change over time and comparison themes that are critical to the course. By creating various
timelines, you’ll be able to see changes and similarities over time and between cultures.

Directions: You are to maintain a chronology in matrix form (see examples below) for each of the
following modules. 5--17 For each of the areas you will have seven chronologies that show major cultural
issues, changes and impacts for each of the modules. These seven chronologies will be divided among
the following seven elements: P.I.R.A.T.E.S. (Political, Intellectual, Religious, Artistic, Technology, Economy
and Society) which corresponds to the 6 course themes
