COURSE The course aims to:
OBJECTIVES: 1. Define the basic finite element formulation techniques.
2. Derive the finite element equations for 1d, 2d and 3d problems.
3. Formulate and solve basic problems in heat transfer, solid mechanics
and fluid mechanics.
4. Develop the computer program based on finite element methods.
5. Use commercial software to solve basic engineering problems in heat
transfer, solid mechanics and fluid mechanics.
