The Book Of John John 4:21-24

for educators
Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in
Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we
know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true
worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to
worship Him. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

There’s a Word for that! Content

Whether you have the best class ever this year, or the one drives you crazy, you can learn to be

content in whatever circumstance, because we can do all things through Him Who strengthens us.
Philippians 4:11-13– Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever
situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and
every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I
can do all things through Him Who strengthens me.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for Jesus. He Who strengthens us is
lovely in our good times and even more lovely in
our bad times. Help us Lord to not look inward

when our circumstances abound nor when things

are low. Help us to be like Paul to learn the secret
of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need
by doing all things through Christ Who strengthens

us. You have given us His Power to persevere.

Thank You from the bottom of our hearts. We pray
in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

Meditation for the month

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on
its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the
truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Prayer, posture and Practicalities

1:16 PM prayer prompt – Please pray for a colleague who is being observed in the near future.

Praying Scripture – Action Step #2 – Do you have a favorite Scripture? If so, turn it into a

prayer. If not, browse through some of our Scriptures we are using this year and claim one for
this school year. Commit it to memory and then pray it daily. You will be richly encouraged.
