Write about an example of social inequality.

What do you see

as a primary cause of this inequality?

The world we live in is a cruel and unfair place where not everyone
gets what they desire, even if they do everything humanly possible to
achieve it. What would you call this phenomenon? I call it life.

Every now and then you hear someone saying “All humans were
created equally”; if that is the case; then, how come there are masters
and servants, rich and poor, normal and abnormal: words used to
describe extreme opposites of what lies in the human population; the
same human population that is falsely the epitome of equality.

Social inequality is a reality that a majority of the human race is

affected by. It is an ugly truth which is often ignored by people at the
beneficial end of the spectrum of division but has been a cause of
chaos and unrest at a universal level. For such bias to end it must be
addressed and the reasons to why it exists must be countered.

We live in a world of economy where money equals power. We do not

live on a planet where every single individual is given an equal stipend
to encourage equality. Instead, what we call home is a place where the
rich is too rich and the poor is too poor. That is what makes economic
inequality outrageous. Lying on their king-sized bed, watching
television on a 100-inch LED TV while their personal cook brings them
their favorite lobster dish, the rich do not care about the poor who
barely make enough money for two meals a day, sleep in a shack
made of sticks and resin, and have no source of illumination except
the Sun.

A person born into an opulent household gets the best education that
is to be offered, graduates from an exquisite institution and then starts
earning for a family that is already well-off. On the other hand,
struggling parents bear a child and spend every ounce they have to
make sure their offspring gets a good primary education. These
parents hope that their child will free them from poverty when he gets
a job. However, what he earns is barely enough to keep himself stable
which makes every dream the parents ever had about escaping their
futile condition void. In conclusion, while the rich keep on getting
richer, the poor are unable to crawl their way out of a life that is barely
worth living. This is an example of a phenomenon known as “wealth
concentration”. As the rich have enough money to invest in different
sectors of economy, they are able to generate more income through
advised investments which leads to an increase in net worth. The poor
do not have funds for any investment; so, they are not able to
improve their living standard as much as the rich can. This leads to
increase in the wealth gap between the richest and the poorest and
thus, it supports economic imbalance and paves way for greater
inequality.
