The Book Of John John 4:25-30

for educators
The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He Who is called Christ). When He comes,
he will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I Who speak to You am He.” Just then the disciples
came back. They marveled that He was talking with a woman, but no one said, “What do you
seek?” or “Why are you talking with her?” So the woman left her water jar and went away into
town and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the
Christ? They went out of the town and were coming to Him.

There’s a Word for that! Content

Oh to be content with our position! You are called to be an educator at this time and in this place.

Give God the glory for placing you where you are and complete this year with contentment in Him.

1 Timothy 6:6-7– But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the
world, and we cannot take anything out of the world.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the reminder that we brought nothing
into this world and we can’t take anything out of this
Y

world. Sometimes we think too much of ourselves.

Forgive us Lord. You are most glorified when we are
most satisfied in You. Lord, teach us godliness with
contentment that we may encourage others to seek the
same. We look forward to the great gain that comes
A

with living for You and You alone. We ask in the holy
name of Jesus. Amen.

Meditation for the month

D

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on
its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the
truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
