One of science and technology’s purpose is to make our lives easier. Gadgets or

innovations which are previously unavailable are made possible through advancements in

these fields. In our daily lives, we use the products of these revolutions for efficiency and ease

of movement. An example of this are the smartphones which does not only help us connect

to each other but also serves as many gadgets in one. From calculators, stopwatches, to

navigation devices, almost everything we can think of can be incorporated in our phones.

Advances in medical sciences has helped us from diseases such as simple cough to more

complex ones like cancer and etc. Furthermore, technology has given us comfort in all areas

in our lives. Going to school has never been easier using transportation devices which we can

now avail. However, these progressions also have negative impacts in our society, as they

can increase digital divide, dependency, and decrease the actual connections in human

relationships.
