Paper Pattern for Entrance Test (Class: Prep) Session 2018-19 onwards
Note:
1. The test of English and Math for Class Prep will be made according to the curricula of previous
class given below.
2. The test will be solved by the students on the same sheet, so adequate space will be provided.
3. Space will be provided on the top for the candidate to write his/her name and the name of
previous school.
4. All the pictures/diagrams will be scanned in the soft copy.

Content
 Writing alphabet from (Aa - Zz).
 Writing own name.
 Writing the first letters of pictures.
 Matching the letters with correct pictures.
 Matching capital letters with small letters.
 Picking the odd one. (eg b, b, b, d )
 Writing vowels or writing middle sound of each picture.
 Filling blanks from A to Z.
 Vocabulary: pet animals, wild animals, fruit & vegetables.
 Circling the correct sound

 Writing numbers from (1-50).
 Writing the given numbers in words.
 Counting the pictures and writing the correct number
 What comes before, after and between given number
 Picking the odd one out. e.g
 Matching numbers with correct pictures.
 Counting backwards.
 Drawing and identification of four basic shapes.
 Concepts of big / small, long /short, heavy / light
