Vll. SYNOPSIS

DAY 1: CGP ROLL OUT

A one-day lecture for the CGP Module was conducted by
the advisers with the help of the guidance counselor and
teachers on the 16th of September, 2019. It was held at their
respective classrooms. The lesson proper started at around
7:00 o’clock in the morning and ended at 2:30 in the afternoon.
Teachers discussed the 8 modules and emphasize the
importance of the key concepts as required to be accomplished
in each module. This aims to guide the Grade 11 and 12
students in making informed decisions regarding their career
choice suitable to their skills and interest.

DAY 2: CAREER DRESS UP DAY

The program started around 8:00 o’clock in the morning of
the 17th of September, 2019 through a solemn opening prayer
led by Josie Sollorano and the singing of the National Anthem led
by Argecel Trestiza.
Opening remarks was delivered by Jocelyn M. Pasol. She
welcome the students who were dressed as the career of their
choice.
Students wore a variety of outfits depicting their future
career choice. Some bring props to demonstrate the work that
they do. Many occupations are represented by the student’s
choices. Popular picks includes, seaman, police officers,
teachers, businessman, nurse and doctors complete with
stethoscopes around their neck.
The highlight of the program was when each students
introduced themselves and their chosen career. The event made
more fun when each advisers got to pick 3 best career dress
from their section. Winners were given certificate and gift in
recognition of their active participation and effort to come in
their best costume.
The closing remarks was delivered by the Guidance
counselor, Dennis Librando. He gave the students a much-
needed inspiration and guidance on their way to achieving their
future career.
The event was hosted by Ms. Doctora and Mr. Salanguit,
Grade 11-ICT Students. Program adjourned at 10:00 AM.
Once again, SDIHS has proven that no undertaking is too
difficult and success is not hard to achieve if there is cooperation
and everyone works for the best interest of the school and of the
students.
