ABOUT ME
My name is Abel Agusta Banuboro, you can call me Abel. I am 23 year(s) old. I was born and grew up in Jepara,
Indonesia. My hobbies, I like to Playing futsal, Listening music , Watching TV and Internet Surfing. My favourite
music is EDM and My favourite food is fried rice. I have a motto that is just being your self. I have done My
Bachelor Of Civil Engineering from UNNES Semarang.
MY FAMILY
About My family, ther are Five Members in my Family. My father name is Eko Kasiono, he is a civil servant and
my mother name is Wakhidatul Khasanah, she is a house wife. I have one older sister her name Sherentina Meida
B, she is a teacher and one younger sister hername Angel Atriwilang Banuboro she is a student at Senior High
School. My older sister she is getting married and she has a baby boy his name is Al.
MY CITY
Coming to my city, I said before that I life in Indonesia exactly in jepara, jepara is one of the city on Central Java
Province. It’s a small city, but I love this city because is not to hot like Semarang. Many place in jepara that you
can visit for vacation and one of the famous is Karimunjawa island. And this is another picture of many place in
jepara. The first pict is giant turtle, the biggest turtle in Central Java maybe in Indonesia too. And then
karimunjawa island, songgolangit waterfall, bandengan beach,portugis fort, plajan village and long island.
MY REASON
The last but not least is why I choose Taiwan, and why I concern on Geotechnic. Why I choose Taiwan? Because
taiwan is one of the most supportive countries for international students. For this reason, I plan to continue my
studies in the Master of Civil Engineering at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology
(YunTech).Why I choose yuntech? At first glance, I have seen that YunTech is one of the most prestigious
universities in Taiwan and provides several programs related to my interest in civil engineering exactly in
geotechnical. Much of the research done by his professors is published in internationally renowned journals.
Therefore, I am very interested to be involved in the project. I believe that studying at YunTech will allow me to
become more expert in relation to my interests.
Why I choose geotechnical? I don’t know why but I just like about geotechnical and it since 5 semester when I
learn the course about slope. Then when I accepted to continue my study in yuntech I read a profile of geotechnical
professor in yuntech web, and finally I interest about 2 topic that is liquefaction and artificial ground freezing. Its
sounds amazing when I read about it especially artificial ground freezing. Maybe its because only a few people
in Indonesia know about that. So I’m so courius and want to concern about that.
