ORDER:-

In the references 1st & 2nd read above, the Joint Managing Director,
APTRANSCO & Member, A.P.Power Coordination Committee has requested the
Govt, for issue of Government Guarantee to APDISCOMs for swapping of high
interest bearing debt and accordingly the Government of Andhra Pradesh has
consented to issue Government Guarantee for an amount upto Rs.11,416.36 crores
vide G.O.Ms.No.36, Energy, I&I (Power-III) Dept, dated 06/12/2017 in reference
3rd read above.

2. The Joint Managing Director, APTRANSCO & Member, A.P.Power Coordination

Committee has further requested the Government vide reference 5th read above,
for issue of Government Orders to stand as guarantee in favour of State Bank of
India totalling to Rs.2,250 crores to avail the Term Loan and credit facilities at
lower rate of interest by Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh
Ltd, with Government Guarantee, as detailed below:-

a Term Loan Rs.2,000 crores @ 8.5% p.a. yearly reset with 1 Year MCLR
b Cash Credit facilities Rs.250 crores @ 8.5% p.a. yearly reset with 1 Year MCLR

3. In the reference 4th read above, it has been authorised the Joint Secretary to
Government, Finance Department to execute the Deed of Government Guarantee
on behalf of the Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department,
Government of Andhra Pradesh for Rs.2000.00 crores for obtaining a Term Loan
and Rs.250.00 crores for Cash Credit facilities by A.P.Power Coordination
Committee from State Bank of India.

4. After careful consideration of the matter, Government hereby order granting

Government Guarantee and to execute Deed of Government Guarantee by Joint
Secretary to Government, Finance Department on behalf of Principal Secretary to
Government, Finance Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh for obtaining a
Term Loan of Rs.2000.00 crores and Rs.250.00 crores for Cash Credit Facilities by
Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Ltd, from State Bank of
India.

5. The Chairman & Managing Director, APTRANSCO & Chairman, A.P.Power

Coordination Committee and the Chairman & Managing Director, Southern Power
Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Ltd, shall take necessary action in the
matter accordingly.
