Pre Lesson
1. Pupils shows a picture of a family.

2. Pupils read about a girl called Fay and her family.


3. Teacher asks pupils to show you who Fay is.
4. Teacher asks questions to help pupils predict what they will read.
5. Pupils read the text on Student’s Book p.11 and find the answer to their
question.
Lesson Development
6. Teacher monitors as pupils work on the reading activity to get an idea of
individuals’ Reading
skills.
7. Pupils give feed back as a whole class. Pupils ead their question then give
the answer. Pupils can then check each other’s answers as they listen.

Post Lesson 8. Pupils play a True/False game based on the information in the text. Pupils
explain why the answer is false and give correct answer.
