NARRATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT


Period: January 26, March 2, and March 9, 2019,

A. Introduction:
The first quarter of the year, the City Social Welfare and Development Office- District III
Staff conducts the Re- Organizing of Youth in district wide level: Galas, Olingan, Punta, and
Sinaman. With the collaborative efforts from the LGU/ Barangay Officials, SK Chairpersons and
sponsors to the said activity done by the concern agencies, ensures that the activity delivers to
strengthen the youth and raise leaders as the front liners of the society to be part of the development
of the society.

B. Program/Projects/Activities Undertaken:

The elected officers of the four respective Barangays of District III.


Promoting open youth-to-youth communication and building space and friendly
community centered- youth base. The participants are from barangay Galas, Olingan, Punta and
Sinaman. The total number participants of Olingan were 168, with 78 males and 90 females,
and total participants of Punta were 192, with 93 males and 99 females.
Social Services for Youth (15-24 years old)

Seminar Cum Planning Workshop

Through the seminar cum planning workshop held last March 9, 2019 at Barangay Olingan
Function Hall, Olingan, Dipolog City. This was attended with 21 participants, with 8 males and 13
females from the respective barangays of Galas, Olingan, Punta and Sinaman. The activity was
presided by the CSWDO District III Staff, headed by the District III In- charge, Mr. Janneil J.
Balongoy, and Ms. Jennyvie V. Bejerano, as the Youth Focal Person for the said activity.

Hence, the activity was followed by certain topics on how to identify issues and concerns
arising in the community through Problem Tree Analysis and enabling the youths to make an
Action Plan. The workshop was keyed up by the invited guest’s speaker from the Zamboanga del
Norte Federation of Parents Association (ZNFEPA), Mr. Mark Anthony Sumandig and Ms. Mary
Chris Eguia. The activity promotes the youth to gain leadership skills and close- knit peer group
that sends positive message to fellow youth throughout the community.
Oath-taking and Induction of PYA Officers of Barangays Sinaman and Olingan.

Youth members of the PYA Galas, Olingan, Punta, and Sinaman Chapters.
Developing leadership skills and strong support network of other young people to
make healthy choices and formulate activities to help their peers.
