LIVE TOMORROW
We invite you to watch our first-ever "Advance Parole Voices - Live
Edition" tomorrow Thursday, Sep. 26 at 5pm PST / 8pm EST. We'll
be featuring a new voice and a new story every week.

On this first episode, we will feature Mayra Garibo's story, a

DACAmented immigrant from California who is helping us lead the
National Campaign to Restore DACA's Advance Parole after having to
endure the pain of seeing her dad's funeral over FaceTime because she
was repeatedly denied an Advance Parole permit.

FEAR IN THE AGE OF STATE TERRORISM

The CMSC calls upon public policymakers at all levels of government, to respond
to the State-terrorism targeted and inflicted by the Federal Government's hateful
policies and anti-immigrant rhetoric.

This trauma is affecting all segments of the immigrant population but in particular
the youngest in our community.

Thus, we call upon school districts and academics to immediately

address this crisis , and to develop plans and policies to respond
through mental health interventions for immigrant students and
parents.
