1. We could all perform numerous ways to promote a healthy heart. Having a healthy
heart means a lot to our health. Here are some ways for an individual to have a healthy
heart:
 Physical Activity helps prevent occurrence of heart diseases and/or cardiovascular
diseases. Physical activities such as involvement to different sports contributes in
helping your heart to be healthy.
 Exercise helps in preventing or treating coronary heart disease. One good example of
an exercise that any individual of any age can do is running.
 Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercises are developed mainly to reduce risks and prevent
cardiac disorders to happen. Examples of this exercise are treadmill and swimming.
 Endurance Exercises keeps your heart healthy. Walking, jogging and dancing are
examples.
 Aerobic Exercise increase cardiovascular endurance. Examples are cycling and
hiking.
 Anaerobic Exercise improves heart health like weight training.
 Regular Exercise contributes in decreasing the risks of heart diseases like heart
attack. Doing tasks and moving more is part of regular exercise that one can perform.
2. There are a lot of heart diseases that are existing as of today. The following are known
cardiovascular diseases.
 Coronary Heart Disease- It’s hardening of the arteries that give the heart vital oxygen
and nutrients.
 Heart Attack- death of a segment of heart muscle caused by a loss of blood supply
 Heart Failure- caused by uncontrolled high blood pressure, a heart attack, or a heart
valve that does not work properly
 Stroke- occurs when the blood supply to part of your brain is interrupted or reduced,
depriving brain tissue of oxygen and nutrients
 High Blood Pressure- long-term force of the blood against your artery walls that may
cause heart disease.
3. According to Charles Corbin and Guy Le Masurier, physical fitness refers to the ability
of your body systems to work together efficiently to allow you to be healthy and perform
activities of daily living. From I have read, one good example of physical fitness activity is
exercise. Exercise is something all of us, of all ages can do or perform indoor or outdoor.
Exercise doesn’t only means going to the gym but it also can be done through daily
activities like walking or running. Physical activities help us reduce risks of occurrence of
different diseases especially heart disease. Exercise helps us maintain a healthy mind
and also makes us confident about ourselves. Exercise is a must for us, because exercise
makes us healthy internally and externally. Sweating is a good thing and all of us shall
move more rather than doing nothing for us to have stronger bones and muscles. The
bottomline is, we all must be more active because after the sweats that we had, at the
end of the day, we know that it is all worth it. We are healthier and better than ever.
