Dear parents and guardians,

My name is Erin Yaremcio and I would like to take this time to introduce myself as  your
child’s Grade Eight English Language Arts teacher, until December 20th as a part of my
Professional Semester Three at the University of Lethbridge! After my time at G.S. Lakie
finishes, your child's teacher shall be Mrs. Jodi Babki.

am an English Language Arts Education major with a minor in Music Education.

Throughout my time at the University I spent most of my studies focused on acquiring
language, whether it be through linguistics, early childhood language development, or
teen lit! I have taught a variety of ages and can honestly say that middle school is my
favorite. I will be graduating at the end of December and cannot wait to have a classroom
of my own. I grew up in central Alberta and my love for teaching and education started at
an early age - I fondly remember teaching my younger siblings how to read! In my spare
time I can be found reading, writing, singing, hiking and of course spending time with my
boyfriend and our lovely rescue dog!
