This is a Connect 4 review game that will help students recall information from their unit of
study and test what they know on a fun and competitive way. This template was created by
Professor Susan M. Moncada at Indiana State University and was adapted by me, Mackenzie
Raines, to fit my specific lesson idea.

After students contribute 2-3 questions for the game board, they will break up into pairs and
designate one student as red and the other as yellow. Players take turns selecting slots on the
Connect 4 board until one of them secures four consecutive game slots either horizontally,
vertically, or diagonally.

This play goes back and forth until one player gets four chips in a row either vertically,
horizontally, or diagonally. As an extension, students could create their own questions and give
it to peers to test their knowledge and deepen their understanding of the material.
