2. Basic Concept :
In this unit student will be introduce to new vocabulary of things around them and will learn
about Past Continuous: affirmative, negative, questions and short answer. Understand and
be able to use Past Continuous and Past Simple tenses. Understanding and capacity for
interpreting what has been heard and read from various types of media, and ability to
express opinions with proper reasoning.
3. Standard(s) Indicators :
F1.1M3/1 : Act in compliance with orders and requests heard or
read.
F1.1M3/2 : Pronounce and spell words; accurately read aloud
groups of words, sentences and simple chants by
observing the principles of reading.
F1.1M3/3 : Choose/specify the images or symbols corresponding
to the meanings of groups of words and sentences
heard.
F1.1M3/4 : Answer questions from listening to or reading
sentences, dialogues or simple tales.
4. Terminal Objective :
1. Students will be able to act in compliance with simple orders heard.
2. Students will be able to specify the alphabet and sounds and accurately
pronounce and spell simple words by observing principles of reading.
3. Students will be able to choose the pictures corresponding to the meanings of
words and groups of words heard.
4. Students will be able to answer questions from listening to matters around
them.

1st Meeting
Steps Learning Experiences Time Alocation
Introduction 1. Teacher enters the classroom and greets 5 Minutes
the students..
“Good morning/Good afternoon students.
How are you today?”
“I’m fine. Thanks”
And introduce her/his self.
2. Prepares the student to study.
Main Activities 1. Teacher gives explanation about Past 40 Minutes
Continuous: affirmative, negative,
questions and short answer.
2. Teacher divides students into small groups
consist of seven to eight students.
3. Teacher gives the random cards (the
question cards and the answer cards) to
each groups and students match the cards.
4. Students submits the answer
5. Teacher confirms the student’s answer
Closing 1. Teacher gives reward for the best group. 5 Minutes
2. Teacher gives students homework.
3. Teacher guides students to make
conclusion.
4. Teacher closes the meeting.
