Exemplary Programs
Conrad Schools of Science is a biotechnology and allied health choice magnet school that includes grades 6 -12 in one renovated, air conditioned building.
Conrad has an excellent library, 4 computer labs, science labs, 2 laptop carts, 3 gymnasiums, and a state of the art strength & conditioning center. Highly
qualified teachers utilize technology and lessons involving rigor, relevance, and relationships in a caring and safe environment with a student dress code. An
advisory program helps students make intelligent life choices as pertains to academic effort, social interactions, and civic responsibilities. Our goal is to
prepare students for the workplace or for higher education at the college level. Students attending Conrad will have the opportunity to earn college credit as
part of their high school experience. The middle school curriculum is a challenging preparation for the rigors of our high school. Preference is given to middle
school students applying to the high school program.

Curriculum Highlights
An A/B block schedule with four 88 minute blocks maximizes learning. In middle school, English & Math are scheduled every day, doubling instruction &
allowing students to complete high school Algebra I & Algebra II during middle school. Middle school extra curriculars include traditional and science
oriented clubs and interscholastic sports. The high school offers a rigorous Biotechnology and Allied Health curriculum at the center of a traditional high
school experience. Business and academic partners enhance our curriculum in the classroom and through job shadowing and mentoring. Our
comprehensive interscholastic athletic program is aligned with our therapeutic science program. Advanced Placement (AP) classes and science electives
enrich our course offerings. Extra curriculars are aligned with the science magnet (i.e. Robotics club, Math League, and Science Olympiad), as well as more
traditional activities (i.e. newspaper, yearbook, band, chorus, National Honor Society).
