and Professional Training

(Unit of Bright India Foundation – A section 8 company)

Greetings from Bright India Foundation

Message from CEO

It gives me immense pleasure to be part of Bright India Foundation a not-for-profit organization

which is focused on social developments, promote vocational education, encourage self
employment, develop entrepreneurship skills, Provide professional training etc supporting the
government agencies in carrying the development schemes of state & central government
organizations. Creating proper awareness and implementing all possible social development
activities are exercised by the members in association with government and private sector
institutions.

A majority of Indian workforce does not possess marketable skills which is an impediment in getting
decent employment and improving their economic condition. While India has large young population,
only 5% of the Indian labor force in the age group of 20-24 years has obtained vocational skills through
formal means whereas the percentage in industrialized countries varies between 60 % and 96%.

About 63% of the schools students drop out at different stages before reaching Class X. Large number of
school drop outs do not have access to skill development for improving their employability. The
educational entry requirements and long duration of courses of the formal training system are some of the
impediments for a person of low educational attainment to acquire skills for his livelihood.

BIVEPT is engaged in imparting Vocational Training to school/ college students and people who
have not been able to attend Schools/ITI/college in a regular manner due to various circumstances.
The Examination wing will conduct Examinations as per the rules and regulations of Govt standards.
We undertake the full range of administrative duties associated with examinations, i.e. conducting
examinations, Inspection of examinations, processing examination results, preparing transcripts and
certificates etc. This also entails the communication of results, students’ progress reviews, and
preparation of date sheets. The functions of the department also includes the coordination in printing
of examination papers, invigilation schedules, calculation of marks dealing with all matters regarding
examinations and administrating the internal examination system. We issue Certificates and Detailed
Marks Certificates on prescribed formats to the successful candidates on request.
In addition under Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and
Entrepreneurship we provide vocational skill training to women for wage and self-employment to help
them gain economic uplifting and social empowerment.
