(WLR)

Reporting The Weekly Law Reports. They are the best way to keep up-to-date with cases of
the Superior and Appellate Courts in England and Wales

Selection of Cases
The Weekly Law Reports have been published by the ICLR since 1953. They are the only series of Law
Reports to cover cases heard in the House of Lords, Privy Council, the Court of Appeal, all Divisions
of the High Court and the relevant decisions of the Ecclesiastical Courts (religious), the Employment
Appeal Tribunal and the Court of Justice of the European Community.
For those wanting to have authoritative English case law precedents, whether as a practitioner or as a
student, reference to The Weekly Law Reports is a must.

Format
The Weekly Law Reports are published in approximately 45-48 parts and designed to be bound in 4
separate volumes at the end of each year.
Volume 1 (published throughout the year) covers cases of general interest, while Volume 2 (January
to June) and Volume 3 (July to December) cover the cases which will subsequently appear with the
reporter’s notes of argument in The Law Reports. Volume 1 binds into two volumes at the year end.
Subscriptions to the Weekly Law Reports run from January to December. New subscribers will duly
receive parts published since the beginning of the subscription year.

800 pages each. Issued on 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th day of the month. Additional/Supplementary volumes if
published will be charged extra. Their purchase is however, optional for the subscriber.

2. The subscription rate of ‘Supreme Court CasesTM (Civil) (Fortnightly)’ for 2014 is for 4 regular volumes only
issued in approximately 24 parts a year on 12th and 24th day of the month. Additional/Supplementary volumes
if published will be charged extra.

3. The subscription rate of ‘Supreme Court CasesTM (Labour & Services) (Monthly)’ is for two volumes only. For
reporting of additional cases, supplementary/additional volumes if published, will be charged extra.

4. While subscribing to the journals, subscribers are advised to get the parts by registered post in order to avoid
unnecessary delay and to ensure safe delivery. Else it shall be assumed that issues are to be sent by ordinary
