QOL project

1. Research tool to be used to determine QOL of the elderly in this project (WHOQoL-
Bref) is not a specific tool for elderly. Since WHOQoL-Bref is suitable for general
people, SF-36 is suggested instead of WHOQoL-Bref.
2. Factors associated with QOL in elderly should be extensively reviewed from previous
studies and need to be mentioned in the introduction of the proposal. Besides,
knowledge gaps should be added.
3. Purposive sampling technique can lead to selection bias. Thus, random sampling
technique should be used instead.
4. For participants to be enrolled into the study, sample size estimation should be
performed according to factors associated with QOL in elderly.
