ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Postgraduate Programmes: At least a Second Class Honours degree from recognized
Institutions in a relevant field or in exceptional circumstances, professional qualifications
will be required. Candidates are required to pass the UMU Graduate Admission Test
(GAT) and have at least two years of working experience in the relevant field.
Diploma Programmes: Minimum requirement is One (1) Principle Pass in the Uganda
Advanced Certificate of Education in the subjects relevant to the programme applied for, or
Certificate holders with at least a Credit or 2nd Class in related field. And should have

obtained at least Five (5) Passes in the Uganda Certificate of Education at one sitting or
its equivalent

Lubaga Cathedral Church after Centenary Bank (on +256 (0) 393 215 779). Or from
any nearest Office of the Diocesan Education Secretary of the Catholic Diocese or
UMU Campuses: Mbale (on +256 (0) 393 215 706) located at St. Austin, Masaka (on
+256 (0) 393 215 784) located at Bwala Social Centre, Nsambya (on +256 (0) 393 215
786) opposite Nsambya Catholic Parish, Kabale (on +256 (0) 393 215 787) located at
the former premises of Kabale Boys Primary School, Fort Portal (on +256 (0) 393 215
788) located at Virika, Ngetta (on +256 (0) 393 215 785) located at the former Ngetta

APPLICATION FEES:
A non-refundable Fee of Ugx.30,000 for Undergraduates and Ugx.50,000 for
Postgraduates (excluding bank charges) should be paid on submission of the Application
Form.

Deadline for receiving application forms for the Academic Year 2019-2020 August
Intake is 31th July 2019.
