Position as an Instructional Designer for the Instructional Technology and Academic


Service department at the University of Alabama who will work with the instructional
design team and content expert to research, develop, plan and implement online
courses and provide support that is needed along the way.

 Perform pure tone air conduction screenings with the Audiogram.
 Perform testing of middle ear pressure with the Tympanometer.
 Prepare and ship hearing aid orders and repairs.
 Answer Multi-line telephone and answer questions appropriately or direct
Call to the appropriate person.
 Clean and prepare the Audiologist’s tools/equipment on a routine basis.
 Prepare rooms for patient by entering Audiogram into software and/or
Connecting hearing aids to the Noah Link or Phonak iCube.
 Check hearing aids into Noah upon arrival.
 Enter data into Phonak target to prepare for Lyric insertion and provide
Audiologist with helpful information on its proper insertion based on
Previous documentation.
 Write chart notes.
 Schedule patient appointments when needed.
 Counsel patients on proper maintenance and care of their hearing aids.
