Sanctuary lamp July 29, 2012 in memory of
Patricia Williams. Patty was a lifelong member
of St. James Episcopal Church. She was active in
the Altar Guild and past Chairperson for the
Roast Beef Dinner. In addition, she was also the
principle member of the painting crew.

Advent III
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Pot Luck
Luncheon on Sunday, December 17, 2017, and helped decorate
the church for Christmas.

In the next few weeks, the

Search Committee will
meet with a group of
candidates on retreat.
Their plan is to present the
Standing Committee with
three to five persons for a
slate to be elected on April
28, 2018.

Kajo Keji. A total of $526.00 was
January 27, 2018 (Snow date: February 3, 2018). raised and sent to the Diocese.
The time is 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Eat-in or take-out. Price Additionl donations can be sent to:

Thanks to help from the diocese, the year ended
with a balance of $4,769.58 in the checking
account. The stewardship campaign resulted in
pledges totaling $26,568, up slightly from last year.
Annual Parish Meeting
Our Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018,
immediately following the 10:00 Eucharist. The meeting will be conducted by
Ron Fowler, Senior Warden. Just some of the committees that may be asked
to report are:
Altar Guild Choir/Music Cleaning Crew
Community Meal Convention Food Pantry
Fund raisers Lector/Readers Stewardship
Senior Warden and State of the Church reports will be presented. Election for
one member of the Vestry will take place, as will election of Delegates to
Convention. If interested, see Ron Fowler.
