Introduction
This Online Guide integrates and measures primarily the receptive skills: listening, reading, language use.
It places equal emphasis on them, which is why; the test items are designed with an average standard
score per skill. The above-mentioned skills will be assessed.

The Online Guide 1 is a 30-item multiple-choice test and consists of different sections:

1. Listening section: This section will have 5 multiple-choice questions which are based on a
video material taken from YouTube or any other audio resource according to the student’s level.
It assesses students’ abilities to understand context, main idea, and supporting details.
2. Reading section: This section will have 10 multiple-choice questions which are about different
articles, taken from any other source of information. It assesses students’ abilities to understand
main and supporting ideas in written articles, vocabulary, and the author’s interest.
3. Grammar section: This section will have 10 multiple-choice questions which are focused on
grammatical structures. It assesses the students’ ability to recognize statements that are
contextually appropriate and grammatically correct.
4. Vocabulary section: This section will have 5 multiple-choice questions focused on the student’s
learning material. It assesses the students’ ability to understand, use words, and recognize lexical
chunks and fixed phrases in a context.

Online Assessment

You should pay close attention to the permanent communications that will be sent to you all through
the platform to inform you the details of the online assessments and online guides.

Detail
The online evaluation consists of a set of questions such as "multiple choice" that must be answered in
a given time in the platform. The platform will give you the opportunity to answer them and then be
evaluated. You can know the outcome of your evaluation immediately after doing it.
To be able to do the online evaluation, students must be well prepared for it.

Assessment
The online evaluations are conducted before the face to face exam. The day and time will be
communicated in the academic calendar and through other means in the platform.
You should be aware of communications that will be sent via webmail and the information that will be
available in the platform.
There is only a schedule for the evaluation. You must open the Program Section in the platform and
answer the questions according to the contents for the evaluation. The system will indicate the time
allocated for this purpose. When you have completed the test, make sure to save your participation. Later,
you can view the score achieved.

Restrictions
If you do not take the evaluation, you will lose the assigned points.

 For each question, there are three options, so you must choose the correct
