Activities Pre Lesson (5 minutes)
In groups, pupils introduce their own family members. Activity 1 (Knowledge) 10 minutes 1. In groups of four, pupils discuss on how to show respect to the elder family members. 2. Each pupil gives at least one opinion (PAK21 Roundtable)
Activity 2 (Socio Emotional) 15 minutes
1. Based on the opinions, pupils act out to show how to greet the elder family members (PAK21 Role Play). For example, how they shake hands with the elder family members.
Activity 3 (Action) 25 minutes
1. In the same groups, pupils create Father’s Day/ Mother’s Day card. 2. Pupils discuss on what to write in the card. 3. Pupils refer to the dictionary for correct spelling and vocabulary.
Post Lesson (5 minutes)
1. Two stay, two stray (Two pupils stay in the group and explaining about their card, while the other two pupils stray to see the other groups card) 2. Teacher sums up the lesson, highlight the core values and ends the lesson. Reflection
