DESIGN INFORMATION :

▪ PERI Design Tables Formwork and Shoring that are based on DIN standards listed above
▪ PERI Product Information
GIVEN :
* Concrete Density = 26 kN/m3
* Slab/Beam Thickness (d) = 3000 mm
* Floor Height = 17.30 m
* Primary Runner = GT 24
* Secondary Runner = GT 24
CONCRETE LOAD
Slab/Beam Thickness = 3m
BENDING STRESS = MB
Z
= 9.65 N/mm2
< 26.20 N/mm2 / 2 = 13.1 N/mm2 OK
SHEAR ( V ) = 6wL
10
= 12.51 kN
SHEAR STRESS = V
A
= 0.70 N/mm2
< 2.62 N/mm2 / 2 = 1.31 N/mm2 OK
Therefore, the secondary runner PERI GT24 Girder satisfies the load requirements.
MID SPAN
CANTILEVER
At Cantilever, Max. bending moment, M = wL2/2 = 28.0 kNm / 2
50.87 *L2/2 = 14.0
Lcantilever = 0.74 m
Therefore, the primary runner PERI GT24 Girder satisfies the load requirements.
The maximum lateral pressure exerted by the plastic concrete shall be the smaller of the
following: (CP 23: 2000)
hs = P/ρ
(a) Pmax. = ρ = 2.00 m
[C R + C 2 K ( H −C 1 R ) ]
100 1
(b) Pmax = ρh/100
THEREFORE : h=
Pmax = 49.18 kN/m2 3m
DESIGN PRESSURE, P = 50 kN/m2
ALLOWABLE DEFLECTION = L
270
= 3.70 mm or 3mm whichever is greater (CP23:2000)
= 3.70 mm
Therefore, the secondary runner PERI GT24 Girder satisfies the load requirements.
= 58.00 x ( 1.3 )2
8
= 12.25 kNm
< 24.72 kNm / 2 = 12.4 kNm OK
MAX SHEAR V = wL
2
= 58.00 kN/m x 1.3
2
= 37.7 kN
< 180 kN / 2 = 90.0 kN OK
ALLOWABLE DEFLECTION = L
270
Therefore, the main bearer PERI Column Steel Waler satisfies the load requirements.

Measurement of deflection
With our large panels, the tie points
can normally be taken as reference of
check points. In accordance with the di-
agram below, a straight edge is applied
in such a way that it touches the
stripped concrete wall, with the two
measuring wedges showing the same
deflection. This deflection it to be com-
pared to the permissible deflection.
Example:
TRIO panel 270 x 240: maximum defor- l = 2.03 m
mation is measured in the middle of max f
the panel.
