In view of our requirements in the course Communications Systems Analysis and Design,

we have prepared documentation on “Microwave – Radio Link Design” located from

Santiago, Isabela to Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. In relation to this, we have come up

with a proposed repeater, receiver and transmitter locations with its equipment and

specifications based on the design we have made.

 ABSTRACT

Point to point communication has a fast development in today’s communication

era. In cellular communication the Base Transceiver Station (BTS) to Base Controller

Station (BCS) link is based on microwave link. Microwave equipment can be installed

after a detailed microwave link can have caused periodic system outages, decreased in

throughput, or worse-case scenario, a complete failure of the system. The Microwave

Link Design is sited from Santiago, Isabela to Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija. This was made

with lower sideband of 6.16 GHz and upper sideband of 7.1 Ghz in every hop.

The researchers would also like to express their deep and sincere gratitude to their

The researchers are extremely grateful to their parents for their love and support.

The sacrifices they made in order to give us comfort will never be left unanswered. This

study brings us one step closer towards our goal.

The researchers would also like to give thanks to both Aguinaldo and Viloria

Family. Sleepless nights in their homes made this study possible.

The researchers also extends their thanks to other groups for the collective efforts

to understand the formula and create an excel spreadsheet that made the computations a

lot easier.
