ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Quotationers who fulfills the following requirements shall be eligible to quote the
rates:

1. EMD & Quotation Processing Fees:

Quotationers must submit the following:
a. The EMD to be paid in favour of Central Warehousing Corporation,
New Delhi only through e-payment gateway of e-procurement and
receipt of the same should be scanned and uploaded on the e-tendering
website www.tenderwizard.com/CWCalongwithquotation documents.
b. Quotation processing fee (Non- refundable) would be paid mandatorily to
M/s KEONICS through e-payment through the portal
www.tenderwizard.com/CWC.

2. EXPERIENCE
1. The consultant should have carried out the structural design work for a minimum of
Rs.10.00 lakh for any Govt. Department/Public Sector Undertaking during the last
five yearsending last day of the month previous to the one in which quotations are
invited.
2. Consultant should have services of qualified structural engineers and necessary
design softwares at his disposal for structural designing for which they would submit
the proof in support of it.

3. TURNOVER

The Consultant must have an average financial turnover Rs.10.00 lakh during the
last three financial years preceding to the current financial year.

NOTE: Quotationers are requested to kindly upload the scanned copy of all the
above mentioned eligibility documents at the time of submission of
quotation for online quotation.
The technical bid would be opened at 3.30 P.M. on 10.09.2019 in the presence of the
quotationers who may wish to be present.
In the event of any of the documents found fabricated / forged / tampered /altered/
manipulated in the quotation, then the EMD of the quotationer would be forfeited and
he/they himself/themselves would disqualify for future participation in the quotations of
CWC works for the next five years.
In case of delay in completion of work, CWC will have liberty to forfeit the EMD and debar
the Consultant for future participation in the quotation/ tender works of CWC for a minimum
period of five years which may further be extended at the discretion of the Corporation.

“The quotationers should carefully read the Terms & Conditions before submitting
their quotation. Quotationer submitting the quotation on behalf of a partnership firm or
private Ltd. / Public limited Company must submit the partnership deed and GPA and /or the
Certificate of Incorporation together with Article of Association and Memorandum of
Association along with the technical bid, otherwise they will be disqualified for opening of
their financial bid.”

Quotations not accompanied with full documents, EMD & quotation processing fee in
the requisite form shall be summarily rejected.

as well as superstructure for proposed pre-Engineered Warehouse
Building. The designs and drawings are to be vetted by any of the IITs.

Scope of work : It shall include preparation and submission of

Architectural/structural design of foundation as well as
superstructure for :
Preparation of Architectural/ structural design and
supplying all relevant drawings/ plans/elevations/
sections, calculation of designs for foundation as
well as superstructure for proposed pre-Engineered
Warehouse Building. The designs and drawings are
to be vetted by any of the IITs.

Building description : PEB warehouses are generally used for storage of industrial goods
and conventional godowns are used for storage of foodgrains etc. We are constructing the
storage infrastructure all over India.
(A) Pre-Engineered Warehouse
Span of godown : 22m, 29 m & 45 m
Length of godown : 126 m outer to outer consisting of three compartments for
22 m span and 157 m outer to outer consisting of three
compartments for 29 m span or as per requirement of site.
However, design of a single compartment of span 22m, 29m
& 45m may be prepared.
Height of the godown : 6m, 8m (for 22 m and 29 m span) and 9 m, 12m (for spans
at eaves above plinth 45 m) by providing suitable slope in the roof as per IS Code.

Earth quake zone : III, IV & V

Wind zone : For wind speed of 44 m per second, 50m per second and
above 50 m per second.

Soil condition : Ordinary soil (10.76t/sqm) and black cotton soil (5t/sqm&
2t/sqm).

Primary framing : Clear span.

Frame : Rigid frame (as per recommendation)

Primary members : All primary members (columns and rafters) shall be

fabricated from plates having minimum yield strength as per
 recommendation. The primary members shall be fabricated
by continuous shop automated welding using submerged arc
welding. Primary members fabricated from plates shall have
flanges and web jointed both side of the web by a
continuous welding process.
Secondary members : The secondary members consists of Z-purlins or any other
suitable section and eave struts shall be of cold formed steel
having a minimum yield strength as per recommendations.

Roof slope : According to design requirement as per IS Code.

Main column bay : As per design

Gable wall Column : Span equally distributed in required bays as per economical
spacing design criteria. Provision of rolling shutters of size 3.6 m
wide and 4.27 m height has to be kept in centre of the gable
walls and end walls.

Wind bracing : Bracing members as per design.

Roofing : Sheeting may be pre-coated galvalume steel sheet of 0.60
mm (TCT), material yield strength 550 MPa, galvalume AZ-
150 with regular modified polyster paint & coating of 20-25
micron RMP on exposed surface including primer of 7-10
micron epoxy coating on unexposed surface including primer

Canopy : 4 M wide, 5M height (approx from road top) only in front of

gate opening suitable for placement of containers/trollas or
as per recommendation.

Wall Cladding : Wall Cladding will be provided above 3.60 m (approx) from
plinth or as per requirement which will be colour coated
galvalume profile sheets 0.60mm(TCT), material yield
strength 550MPa, galvalume AZ-150 with regular modified
polyster paint & coating of 20-25micron RMP on exposed
surface including primer & 7-10 micron epoxy coating on
unexposed surface including primer alongwith provision
skylight panels.

Flooring : Heavy duty flooring in the godowns.

Rolling shutters : 3.05M width and 3.6M height mechanically operated and
shall be as per General norms.

Plinth height : 1.20 M from road top

Non loading bearing : 23 cm. thick Brick masonry wall should be minimum 3.00 M
wall (approx) height above plinth level.

Translucent sheets. : Sky light panels should be made of 3 mm Poly carbonate

translucent sheets unbreakable, matching with the profile of
roof sheeting.

Anchor Bolts & : As per design.

Fasteners
Ridge caps : A framed panel of the same material as that of sheeting.
Flashing & Trim & : Flashing matching to wall cladding material shall be provided
Special at the junctions/ termination edges of sheeting, vertical
corners, barge-roof to wall cladding etc. to ensure neat
finish.
Foundation : As per design
Solar panel : The roofing system and columns shall be designed to
withstand the load of solar panels over roofing alongwith
arrangement of water tight roofing for all parameters.
Docking system : Providing arrangement of automatic and manual docking of
trucks in the godown at opening.
TERMS & CONDITIONS.
1. The offer shall be valid for 75 days from the date of opening of Quotations.
2. The rates shall be quoted on lump sum basis and should be inclusive of all
leviable taxes including GST. Nothing extra shall be paid for addition/alternation
and correction if any.
a) Consultant is required to submit tax invoice as per rules under GST law.
b) CWC shall deduct GST at source at applicable rates in case transactions under
this contract are liable to GST deduction at source.
c) Under GST regime, consultant is required to correctly and timely disclose the
details of output supply to GST as per GST rules in his GST return. Non-
compliance would result in mis-matching of claims and denial of input tax
credit to CWC. Notwithstanding, anything contained in the
agreement/contract in case of such default by the consultant, the amount of
input tax credit denied in GST alongwith interest and penalty shall be
recovered from the consultant.
3. The offerers shall visit the sites and acquaint himself fully with site conditions
before quoting the rates.
4. No advance payment shall be paid.
5. Conditional offers shall be liable for rejection.
6. The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the offers
without assigning any reasons thereof.
7. Time allowed for the complete work job is 60 days inclusive of 15 days vetting
time from any of the IITs, which will be counted from date of issue of Work
Order.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE.
1. 50% after submission of drawing and designs.
2. 25% after submission of vetted drawings, design alongwith design calculation
from IIT.
3. 25% after supply of five sets of all drawings in hard copy as well as soft copy.
4. Compensation for delay will be imposed @ 10% per month after lapse of
prescribed time period of 60 days.
