OBJECTIVES
Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen
and arrange at least 5 planets correctly.

able to read and match at least 5 planets to its description

IMPACT/REFLECTION
Pre-lesson: Pupils are asked what they remember about
solar system from the previous lessons.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils are given a set of planets’ pictures. Pupils try to
identify the names of the planets based on textbook page
98 and page 67 Year 3 Supplementary Worksheets
Module.
2. Pupils cut out the pictures of planets and descriptions.
Pupils match the descriptions to the pictures.
3. Pupils get ready with the accordion template. They can
use coloured A4 paper to fold.
4. Teacher asks questions based on the planets’ order.
Pupils answer the questions and paste the pictures and
description. Ex: What’s the hottest planet? Venus.
Post-lesson: Pupils display their accordion book.

Pre-lesson: A picture of a family is shown and ask pupils to
look for the superlative adjectives.
Lesson delivery:
1. Pupils do a recap on the solar system.
2. Pupils refer to textbook page 100. Pupils are explained
about the activity. They roll the dice in their groups and
read the questions. They also have to answer them.
3. Pupils play the game.
4. Pupils play the Superlative-Most Likely To game.
Everyone is given a task sheet to complete task by naming
their friends.
Post-lesson: Pupils share their task sheet answers. Pupils
refer to textbook page 101 to prepare materials for the
next lesson.

across.
3. Pupils cut out the pictures and paste them onto
coloured cards.
