As you all know that it is going to be exciting times for all of us.
Valuers rules have been Published & Gazette is awaited.

The Indian Institution of Valuers (India) is participating at the forefront of all actions with
IBBI due to its active functioning and awareness.

All Council members, Committee Members, Chair Persons & Myself Dr. Amin Shaikh
(Gen. Secretary, IIV (India) were actively involved at all stages of evolution of Valuers rules with
IBBI officials.

I am sure everyone of us wiil make efforts to fulfill all norms to become a Registered Valuer
with IBBI.

I Feel the pleasure to inform you that IIV (India) is now associated with India’s first
organization which is registered under Companies Act. In the name of Confederation of
Engineers & Appraisers (Registered under Companies act 2013 Section 8) .

We intend to guide & assist each one of you to get registration as Registered Valuer IBBI,
Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

We have already started the Procedure to awarding the registration of India's first Valuation
Professional Organization, Confederation of Engineers & Appraisers (Registered under
Companies act 2013 Section 8)

IIV (India) has also started the Six Months Certificate Course in Valuation
(Continuing Professional Development Programme ) with NOC of AICTE Ministry of HRD.
Govt of India.

Although We all have time upto 31st March 2018 but it will be better to register as soon as
possible.

As per the requirements of Ministry of Corporate Affairs Govt. Of India, every

Professional Valuer should be a Member of Registered Valuer Organization ( RVO ).

You all are requested to please enroll with The Indian Institution of Valuers ( India )
( Registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 )

and / or Confederation of Engineers & Appraisers (Registered under Companies act

2013 Section 8) ( Both are upcoming Registered Valuer Organizations with IBBI, The
authority of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India.) as required by The Concern
Authority of Ministry of Corporate Affairs. Govt of India and be Safe as a Professional Valuer.

Confederation of Engineers and Appraisers: - The Institution shall consist of only one class i.e. Member. Member of the
Confederation shall be permitted to use any suffix of the confederation but shall be entitled in other respects to the
privileges of the membership.

2. Eligibility for Enrollment as aMember:-

A) The candidate interested to Registered as aValuer/Appraiser must be Bachelors of Architecture/Degree in

Engineering (any branch) from any UGC recognized University with experience of 05 years and above in the
relative field or as directed under companies (Registered Valuers and Valuation)Rules, 2017 by Ministry of
Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India.

B)The Diploma Engineering holders and Degree Architecture/Engineer Candidates below 05 years of Experience
can registered as a Licentiate Appraiser. (They can not act as a Valuer independently)

C)The candidate interested to Registered as a Certified Appraiser must be Degree in Engineering (any branch) or
Architecture from any UGC recognized University with experience of 05 years and above in the relative field.
