1. INTRODUCTION

Purpose
The purpose of this document is to present a detailed description of the device, intelligent
sensor switch. It will explain the purpose and features of IOT based project, the various new
devices of the application, what the project will do and the constraints under which it must
operate. This document is intended for users and implementers of the system and also
potential developers.
2. Profile of the Problem
Device Scope
Intelligent sensor switch is made for the convenience of the users absence will detect and use by
wireless device their representatives. This application would provide users the facility to use this
application without knowing devices knowledge. People residing outside the home who has
know idea about devices he forgot to close can also possible by any place. This application
would be helpful for the people who forget the thing every easily it will make life style easy . It
would be helpful in minimizing the energy use safe the energy.
This application is new to the market. It is more secured as compared to going to wireless switch
as it uses two-way authentication. This device would take less time and people would also be
able to know about the information about the devices status . So, this would help the users to take
full control on devices .
3. Existing System
3.1 Introduction
Intelligent sensor switch is the new idea that came into our minds to make something
different and convenient for the users. This device is developed with the aim to enhance
knowledge able switch that can control the device by itself. Through this device People would
get more benefits without knowing devices status. This device is also more secured and helpful
for taking correct and unbiased decision. What if device can thing itself to control the devices in
the home. U can think how useful this is .

3.2 Device Functions

• Temperature and humidity
To fetch the data from the home temperature and humidity.
• Motion detection
To detect human present in home or not.
• Light level
To know day and night level .
The Intelligent sensor switch can control the following appliance;
Fans Lights (on/off/dim) x HVAC (on/off)
On/off (different appliance)

3.3 Device Characteristics

genuinely are helpful and useful to the homeowner and automatic control by itself .

7.1 Functional testing
7.1.1 Temperature Sensor
7.1.2 Description
. This sensor is firstly measure the room temperature and according to the
hotness and coolness , it will automatically arranged the devices.

4.1.1 Working of Device

. This Sensor is about to measure the hotness and coolness of an object.

7.2 Human detected Sensor

7.2.1 Description
. This sensor is detecting the presence of human being in the room
According to the presence sensor will get signal automatically.

7.2.2 Working of device

. Object Detector Sensor is about to detect the status of a object .

7.3 ARDUNIO
7.3.1 Description
. Arduino consists of both a physical programmable circuit board
(microcontroller) and a piece of software, or IDE (Integrated Development Environment) that
runs on your computer, used to write and upload computer code to the physical board .
 7.3.1 Working of device
. Arduino is an open source electronic board to control the devicein which
way it will work based on the data which will be fetch by the human detected sensor or
Temperature in room.

7.4 Switch
7.4.1 Description
A switch is an electrical component which can make or break an electrical
circuit , interrupting the current and diverting it from one conductor to another.

7.4.2 Working of device

When the human is not present in the room , the switch will turned off that
particular time .
