We are happy to welcome you as a speaker of MageCONF 2019. Thank you so much for your support! If you want your
presentation to be one of the highlights of this year’s MageCONF and if you want to stay in mind of the Magento community, just
follow the instructions in this speaker’s guide. :)

As a speaker of this year’s MageCONF you will of course get a free ticket. You already received a link via email, where you can register your
ticket.
In case you need more tickets for colleagues, partners or clients, please let us know.

SPEAKER’s PRE-PARTY

As a speaker you're invited to a special cocktails speakers pre-party, which will take place at the Pink Room Speakeasy Bar in Kyiv

The party will start from 19:30 and we'd be glad to offer you some of the tastiest cocktails and snacks on us.

 Your presentation

• Please use the official MageCONF 2019 PowerPoint template in 16:9 for your presentation. It’s already been emailed to you.

• Please send us your presentation until September 20, 2019 at the latest. Please notice that we reserve the right to cancel your slot, if you are not able to
meet this deadline.


• Every year we are glad about all the passionate speakers who share their knowledge for free. We totally understand if you present some short facts about
your company at the beginning or the end of your talk, but we point out that you must be sure your speech is not an advertising story. Otherwise there is
no benefit for the listeners and in the worst case people are going to leave.


• What can you do instead? Think about in which way you can catch the attention of the attendees, so they will get back to you afterwards.


• To prevent technical span, visit your lecture room and check the sequence of your presentation again 1 speech prior to yours.


• Duration of your presentation should be and may not exceed 30 minutes. There will also be 5 minutes for Q&A session after the speech. In most cases
there is another speaker waiting for his speech right after you. So, don’t overrun your lecture time. Otherwise we are forced to interrupt your session.

• Photos and videos of the event are going to be published on our website and social media channels.

• Please consider the copyright and privacy: all image sources and copyright of intellectual property must be cited and featured in the presentation.

• A laptop will be available in each session room. We will upload the presentation on the laptop before. Nevertheless, please also make sure to bring your
presentation on an USB stick. If you want to use your Macbook: We offer all needed adapters (no VGA connection).

• In every room there will be a technician on site to answer your questions and help with your presentation.

Contribution Day
Magento Contribution Day will happen on Friday, 27th of September at 10:00 AM

• We're continuing the awesome tradition of hosting the Magento Contribution Day alongside the MageCONF conference and
invite you to join us for a day of coding alongside Magento Architects and Magento Community members. Everyone is welcome
to join, but are required to register here.

• Contribution Day is a perfect opportunity to improve your Magento 2 coding skills by working on exciting community projects
alongside Magento's Architects, Community Maintainers and your peers from the Magento Community. It is also a great
opportunity to network with both Ukrainian and International Magento ecosystem and... Why not? Simply have fun!



Requirements:

– Working (Up and running) Magento 2 version with develop branch, forked and pulled from GitHub

– Debugger and IDE are up to you, the Magento team uses xdebug and PHPStorm

– Active GitHub account

– Desire to make contribution and have fun
