F ood is a necessity of life for most organics.
More than that, however, it also serves as a
social experience to further improve a party’s
relationship and ease their mind after stressing
encounters. A PC may follow the steps
described below in order to prepare a meal
that can alleviate the groups strain.
It’s encouraged to name the meal and its key
ingredients in order to keep the players
immersed and encourage further roleplaying.
1. Dishes available depend on ingredients
present along with the knowledgebase
of the cook.
Recipes can be used to substitute
knowledge of the recipe. Cookbooks,
datapads and droid memory are valid
sources of recipes.
Should any of the recipients belong to
an uncommon alien species, the GM
may request a Knowledge (Xenology)
check to determine if the recipe and
its designated contents are suitable for
their digestive system.
2. Ingredients can be items within the
player’s inventory or found in the
environment. Depending on the
environment, the GM may request
Knowledge checks from the player. A
cook always knows their own kitchen,
and those found in an urban
environment or on a starship, are
usually easy to navigate. In an
outdoors environment, an Easy ( ) or
Average ( ) Survival or Knowledge
(Xenology) may be used to determine
the viability of plants and creatures as
ingredients in the dish.

3. The player then assembles a dice pool
