what he has learned and to fully understand it before moving
on to the next level.

the hotel

Challenging their thought processes
• Keep on schedule so you can cover your
module on time
• Go over each point slowly and clearly
• A trainee will learn if he realizes the
importance of that information and how he
would gain from it.
6. Presenting
• Encourage and praise as they learn
• If they don’t get it right the first time, they
should know that they will be given feedback
in a positive way. The trainee should know
that he will not be ridiculed or be made to feel
foolish.
• Inform them about the next stage of training
to keep enthusiasm up.
6. Presenting – On the Job Training
• For on the job training: Do it yourself first,
then do it again… slowly this time. Then get
the trainee to do it himself.
• After training, practice. Note the speed and
accuracy of the trainee. Give feedback.

Most Important:
– Follow up tests, observations should be positive
– Positive feedback encourages the trainee to try
– If the trainee has not learnt it the first time,
repeat. You may not have been clear.
