Canada is ubicated in North America, it has around 33 million people, it's capital

is Ottawa and it has around three houndred fourteen thousand citizens. It's
official idioms are English and French, but, the only province where French is
official is in Quebec.

It's top city is Toronto with about two mllion people. Canada's currency is the
canadian dollar.

The weather in Canada is usually cold, there you can find snow and low temperatures
about -15 �C, but it can also reach -40 �C. On the east and west coast, average
temperatures generally don't exceed 20 �C.

The Beaver is one of the country's own animals, and it's considered a national
symbol. You can find a long varied list of animals, from bears, wolves and cougars
to beavers, moles and porcupines.

Totems are a representative element of canadian aboriginal people worldwide.


Canadian culture has been greatly influenced by immmigrants from all over the
world, and it's very influenced by USA because their proximity.

The Maple leaf is represented on the previous and current national flag, on the
coins and on the coat of arms. Other important symbols are the canadian goose, the
totem, the inukshuk(figure made of piled stones), the Crown and the Mounted Police.

Sports

Canada's official sports are ice hockey and lacrosse. Canada shares several major
professional sports leagues with USA, such as hockey, soccer, baseball and basket.

Food

The unique dishes that Canada has created for the world includes an intriguing mix
of sweet and savory food. Although it�s also the country that eats the most Kraft
Macaroni and Cheese dinners every week, there are many signature Canadian dishes;

Poutine, Known as Canada�s national dish, poutine is a French-Canadian meal


featuring three ingredients: fries, cheese curds, and gravy.

Butter Tarts, Butter tarts are small pastries consisting of butter, sugar, syrup,
and egg filling.

BeaverTails, BeaverTails are deep-fried dough pastries, flattened to resemble a


beaver�s tail, and topped with a myriad of flavors.

Curiosities and Tourism

Canada has a large domestic and foreign tourism industry. The second largest
country in the world, Canada's incredible geographical variety is a significant
tourist attractor. Much of the country's tourism is centred in the following
(busiest) regions: Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Niagara Falls, Vancouver Island,
Calgary, British Columbia's Okanagan Valley, and the national capital region
Ottawa. The large cities are known for their culture, diversity, as well as the
many national parks and historic sites.

The Toronto Raptors have achieved the first NBA ring in Canadian basketball history
after winning the 2019 NBA finals they have played against the Golden State
Warriors.

Many famous artists were born in Canada, like Keanu Reeves, Justin Bieber, Drake,
The Weeknd, and many others...
