Opportunities

 World Relief recognizes children are often the most vulnerable and
overlooked group, so they developed Child Development programs which
children of all ages are placed in clubs, where they learn about life,
identity, health, hygiene and safety.
 People around the world are eager to help communities especially, when
it’s their own that’s why there is an increasing number of Donors.
 Abundant supports coming from the government, corporation, and
citizens which contributes not only money but also giving attention to
social issues.
 HIV/AIDS Awareness programs help people become aware of the levels of
care and treatment, whether they are living with HIV or caring for
someone with this disease. To have proper knowledge on how to handle
situations because we live in a completely interdependent world, which
simply means we cannot escape each other. How we respond to AIDS
depends, in part, on whether we understand this interdependence.
Threats
 Water shortages are being exacerbated by the production of the food and
materials we need, with agricultural alone is responsible for 70% of the
water taken from ground water, rivers and lakes.
 Lacking knowledge on how to allocate the resources in an effective and
efficient way.
 About 22,000 children under the age of 5 die from preventable diseases.
 Excess fertilizers are finding its way back into rivers and lakes, causing
odor and taste problems as well as health problems.
 Half of the world’s major rivers are serious polluted and or depleted
resulting to another source of health diseases.
