Dysentery – is an inflammation disorder of the

bacteria, parasitic, or protozoan infection.

2 Types of Dysentery:
1. Bacillary Dysentery – this is caused by the
bacteria shigella.

mild, severe, or fatal.

type of amoeba, a single-celled (protozoan)

Signs and Symptoms
