WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is a great honor to invite you to the 5th Indonesia Heart Rhythm Society (InaHRS) annual scientific
meeting 2017, which will be held in Jakarta on August 18-19, 2017. This year’s InaHRS annual meeting
will focus on “Arrhythmia Updates in Daily Clinical Practice”, in purpose to update physicians to
current issues in diagnosing and treating arrhythmia patient.

In addition, this meeting will also provide you opportunities to interact with experts (speakers), as well
as networking with other colleagues in Indonesia or even overseas. Our goal is to provide virtuous
scientific programs that will keep attendees updated to new and frontier diagnosis and management in
cardiac rhythm field. This two-day meeting offers interactive programs such as workshops, hands-on
session, unknown ECG tracing, how-to session, meet the expert, up-to date symposia topics, and
plenary lecture from well-known national and international faculties.

We are expecting more than a thousand participants of physicians as well as allied professionals who are
actively doing services and researches in arrhythmia field. Last but not least, we are looking forward to
see you to enjoy well-constructed scientific programs which will be rather casual instead of formal.

In this session, you are going to face many uncommon and
difficult ECGs that may be found in your daily practice, here’s
the place to learn tips and tricks of ECG Interpretation.

How to Publish Paper in High Rank International Journal


In this Session, Prof. Yenn-Jiang Lin and Chao Tze Fan, MD
(Taipei Veteran General Hospital), who have been publishing more than 500
papers in high rank international journal (Circulation, JACC, etc) will share to you
how to write and publish. At this session you can
discuss in detail with those experts.

Insight into the Electrical System of the Heart


Here, you can see how the cardiac electricity work. Through the real bovine’s
heart, you can see, feel, and explore the SA node, AV node, and other cardiac
conduction systems. You can go through the right atrium into coronary sinus
and learn it’s tributaries. You can also experience radiofrequency ablation
and explore its effect on myocardium.

Transeptal Punctures, Venous Access, Coronary Sinus Access


Want to be an expert on Transeptal punctures, venous access and coronary sinus
cannulation? This session is the good starting point. Using simulator, you can
practice the best strategy of transeptal punctures, femoral, jugular and subclavi-
an vein access, and coronary sinus cannulation. You may have discussion on tips
and tricks on that particular techniques with the experts.

MEET THE EXPERT:


Syncope
Syncope is a serious symptom as it is an aborted death, but yet difficult to be
diagnosed. Learn how to stratify risks, making a good diagnosis, and give
appropriate management from the experts at this session.

Giving the anticoagulant for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation patient with
coronary artery disease can be harm when dual antiplatelet are also adminis-
tered. How the guideline say on this particular issue and what are not yet
resolved? Two experts will dig the evidences on the first debate session.

Can young patient with asymptomatic WPW become a pilot? Can patient with
asymptomatic WPW work in oil company at the drilling site? Can young patient
with asymptomatic WPW be a heart surgeon? Can…? Those questions will be
debated interestingly in the second debate session.

session will directly show a simplicity of non-surgical left atrial appendage
closure to prevent stroke in patient with non-valvular Atrial Fibrillation. See it
