TO ANALYZE STUDENT’S

PERCEPTION TOWARDS
E-LEARNING
INTRODUCTION
• Electronic learning is emerging as a prominent way to carry teaching
learning process. In countries like India, where population is large
and the educational resources are limited to reach the increasing
needs of providing education.

• E-learning is the utilization of internet and related tools and


technologies to provide a broad range of solutions that improves
performance and knowledge.
REVIEW OF LITERATURE
• There was a study done at the University of Technology of Malaysia
city campus and evaluates the application of technology acceptance
models to e-learning.

• Another research on the effect of distance learner-perception of


course material and access to learning in University of Delhi.

• In a research at the University of Hyderabad to identify student’s


preference for the various e-learning types.
OBJECTIVES
• To understand the usefulness of e-learning among the students.

• To identify how do students think e-learning tools are easy to use.

• To determine the attitude of students towards e-learning.

• To analyze the need for the students to use e-learning in the future.

• To compare the views about e-learning on gender basis.


methodology
• Sampling procedure – Simple random sampling

• Sampling method – Primary data [Questionnaire]

• Sample location – Chennai

• Sample size – 50 Responses

• Samples are collected from college students only

FINDINGS
• The first part of my questionnaire is about understanding e-
learning, their views on its uses and how they think it can help them
acquire educational qualifications.
• The second part of my questionnaire deals with students who had
experiences using e-learning and who shows interest in enhancing
e-learning.
• The third part of my questionnaire is to find out how students feel
about e-learning and the factors influence or will influence their
decision in future and which modes they prefer.
• The final part is about their intention to use it in the future.
