Play 3 Things Listening Game
o Tell the students three things you want them to do in a row. Challenge the
students to listen carefully to all the steps you have to say so they remember (an
important part of listening) what to do.
Touch your nose, jump up and down, sit down
Raise your hands, spin around, high five a friend
Rub your belly, touch your toes, clap your hands
C. Closure –
Ask students if following all 3 directions at once was hard.
Debrief about how it may be hard to follow directions but it is important to follow directions in
the classroom to make sure we can stay safe, respectful, responsible and kind!
