INDOOR FACILITIES
The Lumgate is an interbus device connected to the floodlight
drivers to control the light intensity. It includes an internal
current measurement probe that checks if the floodlights are
working properly. In case of a problem, a signal is sent to the
control system. If the Lumgate loses the interbus connection,
it sets the light intensity at a predefined value (safety). The
Lumgate is integrated into the floodlight or remote driver box.
One Lumgate can run up to 8 LED drivers.
MOTION AND / OR
PRESENCE DETECTION
Motion or presence detection is compatible with any type of control
or dimming system. It will enhance the efficacy of a network by
increasing the light level only when people are detected. The precise
detection area depends on the type of sensor, how it is installed
(height and orientation) and possible restrictions in the area
(obstacles).
Schréder offers 3 types of detection devices to satisfy the needs of

By using back to back transformers, it is possible to transmit the

SCALE (FOR SHOPPING CENTRES OR BUSINESS COMPLEXES) AS
AN EXTENSION OF AN EXISTING NETWORK OR URBAN SCALE (FOR
CITY APPLICATIONS) SO MULTIPLE USERS CAN CONNECT AT THE
SAME TIME. THE BANDWIDTH CAN BE DIVIDED TO ASSIGN A PART

Our modern WLANs are based on IEEE 802.11 1 standards, marketed

under the Wi-Fi brand name.
The Campus Scale version extends an indoor WLAN network to
the outdoor environment (around a stadium, car park, university
campus...). The module is programmed as an Access Point (Wired)
or a Repeater (non-wired). This module allows a CCTV camera to be
connected to an existing WLAN network.
The Urban Scale version is a Wireless LAN mesh network
dedicated to city infrastructure. A gateway device is connected
to a “backbone” and provides network access for the devices on
the network: the nodes. The combination of nodes and gateways
provide WLAN to all end devices. The nodes are integrated into the
luminaires, the gateways are fixed separately on a building or pole.
