Evidence: Job interview

Imagine you are applying for a new job. Below you will find some common job
interview questions. For this evidence, you have to record yourself while you
answer them. Dress up. Look professional. Pay attention to your body language.
Show you really want to get that job. Remember to use the grammar structures
and vocabulary you have practiced within this learning activity.

1. If you could start your career over again, what would you do differently?

Without a doubt one of the things that I would change if I had the opportunity
to start my career again, I would not postpone my studies in so many periods,
I would do it without interruptions.

2. During your performance reviews, what criticism do you hear the most?

It seems pertinent to me, to pay special attention to the aspects that have
greater opportunities for improvement, those that most concern the company
and that directly affect my performance, I like to continue working on strengths,
but above all I like to work and show improvements in aspects that bring me the
most inconveniences.

3. Tell me about your last position?

In my last job position, I had the opportunity to grow professionally, to learn how
to manage staff in charge and above all I could adopt the position of having to
make decisions and be responsible for the entire operation of the organization.

4. What is your work philosophy?

I believe that the success of the work is to learn to do it in a group, showing


interest in each part of the team and, above all, generating freedoms and
decision-making power to each of the people involved in the company.

5. How have you changed professionally speaking in the last two years?

My work profile has changed, I stopped being part of the operational staff and
today I am fully able to make decisions, lead a team and respond with the
results to the internal customer and the external customer.

6. Tell me about the best manager you have ever had.

He taught me the importance of delegating roles and assigning responsibilities,


but he also showed me the importance of providing autonomy to collaborators
and thanking and exalting the work of each server.

7. What were the most memorable accomplishments in your last position?

The promotion showed me that I am always able to take on new challenges and
meet them with honors, receiving the gratitude of the internal and external client
is undoubtedly the best payment for the work done.

8. Why do you want to leave your current job?

It is important to always be in search of new professional challenges, which


requires new skills and that take us to new academic and professional levels.
Comfort zones are not good, I am always looking for new challenges and new
goals.
9. In your previous position, how much time did you spend learning how to do
things better?

All the time I was in the search for improvement actions, I do not skimp on
taking advantage of the opportunities, each step forward is to be closer to
achieving the objective, so I believe that the improvement must be constant.

10. If you’re very happy with your current job, why do you want to leave?

Happiness must be accompanied by the ability to transform and reinvent itself,


but above all with the opportunity to move forward and have continuous
growth that will lead us to be better professionals every day and above all
better people.
